With expertise covering all aspects of accountancy, taxation and business advisory services, we are well placed to take a holistic view to planning for the future as well dealing with specific matters.
Philip T Felman FCA Senior Partner
Philip is the firm’s senior partner and has been associated with the firm and its predecessors for over 35 years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1971 and was a founding partner of Hayvenhursts. Philip deals primarily in tax planning, which is now his major area of practice.
Outside of work Philip is a keen golfer and bridge player. At Bridge Philip has played internationally representing Wales.
Gareth R Williams BSc (econ), FCA Chartered Accountant
Gareth trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross in Cardiff and Swansea, and has been associated with the firm and its predecessors for over 30 years. Gareth has substantial experience in large company audits as well as audits for small and medium sized businesses.
In his spare time Gareth enjoys socializing and travelling.
Stephen F Cox FCA Managing Partner
Steve trained as a Chartered Accountant with PKF and qualified in 1989. He joined Hayvenhursts in 1990. Steve is the audit compliance and managing partner and also maintains a vast portfolio of clients with a varied range of activities.
Outside of work Steve is a motor enthusiast.
Hellen Smith BA (Accounting & Finance) Hons, FCA Chartered Accountant
Hellen trained as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells and qualified in 1994. She joined Hayvenhursts in 1997 and maintains a large portfolio of clients with a very wide range of business activities. Hellen also acts as the firm’s money laundering reporting officer.
Outside of work Hellen is kept busy by her family.
Matthew D Felman FCA Chartered Accountant
Matthew joined Hayvenhursts in 1997 and trained with the firm, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2004. Matthew deals with a wide range of businesses from sole traders to large companies from a wide range of business sectors, as well as specialising in aspects of indirect tax.
In his spare time Matthew enjoys most sports and is a keen football fan.
